Beaconhouse College Programme proudly announces the signing of the LOU agreement with the Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC), furthering its mission in creating a green environment and providing youth with opportunities to record their efforts in combating the ongoing global challenge of Climate Change.
Mr. Nassir Kasuri Chief Executive Officer Beaconhouse International College Programme and Beacon Energy Limited and Mr. Joudat Ayaz, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Climate Change signed a letter of Understanding for the national campaigns of “Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Programme” and “Clean Green Pakistan Movement”.
Moreover, Mr. Malik Amin Aslam, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Climate Change also graced the occasion with his presence. He termed this signing as a historic achievement and a stepping stone in ensuring the inclusivity of students of BCP in the national initiatives such as Green Youth Champions by MoCC.
Muneeb Asim, Pride of BCP Margalla Campus was acknowledged for his countless efforts and being consistent throughout four years for achieving his goal. SAPM Mr. Malik Amin Aslam alongside Mr. Nassir Kasuri appreciated his efforts and wished him luck for his future endeavors. Mr. Malik Amin Aslam declared him as a green champion and we congratulate him for his success.
Mr. Nassir Kasuri, was pleased with the efforts of MoCC in addressing Climate Change and making it a forefront national agenda. He insisted on the active participation of students of BCP in such national projects to equip and empower them as responsible global citizens. He also shared that BCP students are already working for a sustainable green environment and this initiative will further substantiate their efforts and help students to align their activities with government goals.
Ms. Ayesha Ansar, Cluster Convener and Principal Beaconhouse Margalla Campus, Ms. Aisha Hafeez, Senior Headmistress BCP Margalla, Ms. Habiba Kanwal, ACE Coordinator BCP Margalla and Mr. Muneeb Asim, Deputy Headboy, BCP Margalla were also in attendance.
The event concluded with a group photograph and with the mission to make Pakistan Clean and Green through our mutual efforts and representation.
