We also organise visits by officials from both local and international universities, allowing our students to directly interact with them.
The Diploma Programme (DP) curriculum consists 6 subject groups and the three DP core components, as in the visual below. The core and subject groups work in tandem to broaden students’ educational experience and challenge them to apply their knowledge and skills
Each student takes at least three (but not more than four) subjects at higher level (HL), and the remaining at standard level (SL). HL and SL courses differ in scope but are measured according to the same grade descriptors, with students expected to demonstrate a greater body of knowledge, understanding and skills at a higher level.

Choosing the IBDP has been one of the best academic decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve learnt time management and handling a diverse and rigorous workload, and I feel that I’m much better prepared for the challenges of university. I’m excited for what lies ahead!
As an IB graduate from Beaconhouse, this transformative journey equipped me with essential skills to tackle real-world challenges confidently. The hands-on program, including CAS, projects, and activities, solidified my understanding and boosted my confidence, preparing me for university. I wholeheartedly recommend the IB program for academic and personal growth.

The IBDP was a rewarding roller-coaster, enhancing my research, self-management, organizational, and communication skills. CAS fostered my extracurricular involvement, and supportive teachers eased the demanding workload. The skills I acquired over two years now equip me for university and beyond. I highly recommend the program.
