A team of students from BCP Defence Campus Lahore participated in the NSS Space Settlement Contest organized by the National Space Society, USA in which thousands of students from all across the globe take part each year. Saiyid Haider Daood Gilani, Ayesha Tahir, Muhammad Abdullah and Hashim bin Quraish submitted a proposal (44 pages long) for a space settlement called `The Spinning Donut`, detailing features that would make it sustainable for living for a community of a hundred human beings.
